This one day exploration will help you relax and unwind in no time. It will be tailored to suit your mood and needs. The flexible itinerary can include a leisurely walk to the different viewpoints of the breathtaking Magwa Falls, swimming in the river, enjoying a cold drink at the local shop, a stroll through the village and reading or meditating at the stunning viewpoint from our own back yard. Bel Far Niente (the art of doing nothing) is the name of the game. Sleep over and leave paradise after big breakfast.

Scenic circular Day Tours:
R250.00 per person per day (minimum 3 people for 2 days)
Day 1: At sunrise we start our six hour hike through the Goso Forest. See if you can track down the very rare Bronze-Naped Pigeon or the elusive Knysna Loerie. Experience the mystical sights and sounds as the forest enfolds you. This is a very rare opportunity to experience pure nature and to hear all the incredible sounds made by local insects, birds and small animals. A magical, unforgettable experience indeed…
Day 2: On this hike you will be able to experience the serenity and unsurpassed beauty of Pondo Land. You will be hiking to the bottom of the gorge to see the glorious Magwa Falls from below, up again through the tea plantation and then following cattle tracks through the forest where we’ll meet you to take you back to the house.
Kindly note that a moderate level of fitness and agility is required for these tours.
Picnic on the beach:
R390.00 per person (minimum 3 people)
This tour entails a six hour active, exhilarating hike through villages, rolling hills and lush forests ending up at the well known Mboyti beach and river mouth. Here you will be treated to a picnic on the beach, where you can take a swim in the warm Indian Ocean and experience the magic that is the Wild Coast. After exploring the beach we will take you back to your vehicle.
Pondo Land on Horseback:
R450.00 per person (minimum 3 people)
We begin with an hour’s drive across the Mzizangwa River, through the tea plantation and forest to where the horses are waiting close to Mboyti beach. This tour offers fantastic cross country riding in the heart of rural Africa. You will experience the scenic hills dotted with Pondo huts, explore nature and experience the local culture at Mdeni Village while enjoying horseback riding.
Tidefall Tour:
R450.00 per person (minimum 3 people)
Waterfalls that drop into the ocean are very rare and are called tidefalls. This tour is therefore very unique and special. A two hour drive will take you to Lapathana where waves are crashing on the rocks throwing rainbows of water high into the air...you will feel the vibrations and power of it thrumming through your feet. From here the 3km ultimate African adventure begins. The hike will take you through unspoilt nature and if you’re lucky you might spot a whale or two. Arriving at Waterfall Bluff will make your heart skip a beat. Here we will spend some time taking in the splendor, feeling the spray cool and fine mist against our faces, before hiking back to the vehicle waiting to take you back to the house for the evening.
